The Stink Machine works, but is pretty darn loud

I bought this to get rid of dog smells and kitchen smells. We now affectionately refer to it as "the stink machine."

PROS:
-easy to move around
-cleanable filter, so you don't have to replace it
-night light feature (though it's not very bright, which could either be a pro or a con)
-ionizer feature
-it works really well! It gives you estimates of how long it will take to 'de-stink' a room based on if you pick setting 1, 2, or 3, and they seem pretty accurate.
-Have used for about 2 months now for at least 5 hours a day or so (we just leave it on often and sometimes overnight) and have no had to clean filter yet (there is a light that goes off when it needs to be cleaned).

CONS:
-when ionizer is on, there is a light that is just as bright as the night light that stays on. And it would be hard to cover up with electrical tape since it's kind of behind the dial.
-I suppose you could sit it on the floor, but it really needs to sit on a table or something, so it can be hard to find space if you move it around (ours sits on top of the dog kennel usually)
-It uses a fan so it's really pretty loud, especially on setting 3. It's white noise so it doesn't really bother me much, but it's hard to hear someone in another room while it's on. If I buy one again, I think I'm going to look for a non-fan ionizer model


All in all, if you don't mind the noise and light issues I don't think you can beat this for the price. It gets rid of the stink, and that was our main concern.
