So far we have been very pleased with this purifier. I have severe dust allergies and constant sinus infections because of them. I purchased this to use in my bedroom. I was a little concerned after reading other reviews about the amount or degree of noise caused. Personally, I have not found this to be an issue. It has actually helped me to sleep better. I also suffer from insomnia, most likely due to my sinus issues, but the soft, quiet noise that this makes is very similar to my grand baby's sound machine and for me comforting and peaceful. I am very pleased with my purchase so far and hope it continues to perform as it has been.
